A Conference on Options to Provide Better Medicines for All will be held on March 6 in the National Palace of Culture

On Tuesday, March 6, a Presidency Conference on Options to Provide Better Medicines for all European citizens will be held at the National Palace of Culture. The event is part of the calendar of the Bulgarian Council Presidency of the EU in the health sector.

Participation in the forum will be taken by experts from the Member States of the European Union, the European Commission, the World Health Organization, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the academic community, non-governmental organizations, etc.

The conference aims, within the four panels "Pharmaceuticals’ Shortages: Public Health or Trade Considerations? ", "European Pharmaceutical Industry, Committed To Health?", "Earlier Access Tools: Is Speed The Right Priority?","Ensuring affordability and access: the solutions", to provide a platform for discussion on key issues related to drug deficiency, legal possibilities and e-solutions to regulate parallel exports as well as securing of effective medicines at affordable prices.
